Medusa-X
Medusa-X emerged from the need to create something that did not yet exist in Portugal: experiences that combine storytelling, performance, gastronomy and emotion into a cohesive whole with a clear purpose.
We produce immersive events and high-impact corporate experiences. We work with brands, organisations and private clients who understand that the difference between an event that is forgotten and one that is remembered lies not in the size of the budget, but in the way it was conceived.
We do not have a minimum number of guests. We have a minimum level of intention.
We deliberately take on a limited number of projects each year, without geographical boundaries, to ensure that every world we create meets the high standards that define us.
Medusa-X was born out of years of hands-on work at the intersection of organisational culture, experience design and creative production.
Rute Ablum was Chief Management Officer and director at PHC Software, where she created and led the Best Experience at Work project: a proprietary methodology for redesigning the organisational experience that transformed PHC into a national and international benchmark.
The work included visits to global leaders such as Google, Facebook and Airbnb in Silicon Valley, and resulted in tangible and widely recognised achievements for PHC:
#1 Happiest Company in Portugal
Top 50 Best Companies to Work For. Consecutive winner
Consecutive awards from Human Resources magazine in the Best Company to Work For in Portugal category
Best Company Headquarters 2022
It is this experience, of building cultures and experiences from the ground up, with purpose and measurable results, that forms the foundation of every Medusa-X project.
Production is the vehicle. Emotion is the destination.
When we take on a project, whether it is a product launch, an anniversary celebration or the transformation of an organisational culture, the first question we ask is: what do we want people to feel when they leave here?
The answer to that question defines everything: the narrative, the sequence of moments, the atmosphere, the performances, the cuisine and the interactions. Each element is built around a clear emotional intention.
The result is not simply a well-produced event. It is the memory that people describe as something that happened to them.
The intention that guides every creative decision.
The story that gives meaning to the whole.
The space as an extension of the experience.
The living element that transforms the energy of the room.
Integrated into the narrative, not merely present.
The guest as a character, not as a spectator.
The only criterion of success that truly counts.
