FAQ
Medusa-X is a Portuguese company that creates immersive worlds and high-impact experiences, based in Lisbon. We work with brands, organisations and private clients, bringing together narrative, performance, gastronomy, space and emotion in service of a clear intention. Every project is different. What never changes is how it begins: with the question of what we want people to feel when they leave.
It's a format where the participant doesn't watch, they become part of it. There's no rigid separation between stage and audience, between what is served and what is staged, between the space and the narrative. Everything exists in service of the emotional state we want to create. Success isn't measured only by what happened, but by what people felt and keep describing afterwards.
In a dinner show, the meal and the performance typically coexist in parallel. At Medusa-X, the boundary between the elements of the experience is deliberately reduced. When gastronomy is part of it, it's woven into the narrative and the emotional arc. Performance happens in direct relation to the space, the guests and the rest of the world. You don't just watch. You live it.
Our offering is organised into four worlds: Brand Worlds, for brands and high-impact external experiences; Workplace Worlds, for organisational culture and employee experience; Signature Worlds, our original immersive productions; and Private Worlds, bespoke private celebrations.
Always with a conversation. We don't start with a standard briefing form. We want to understand who the client is, what this moment means and, above all, what we want people to feel when they leave. From there, we build the world and the proposal. Get in touch or write to enter@medusax.pt.
It depends on the scale and complexity of the project. For corporate events and Private Worlds, we recommend a minimum of two to three months. For larger-scale projects or those with specific space requirements, the earlier the better. We take on a limited number of projects each year, so availability should be confirmed in advance.
Yes. We have no geographical boundaries. Most of our projects happen in Lisbon, but we work wherever the project takes us.
They are Medusa-X's original productions, created without a brief or an external client. Each Signature World is a complete immersive world, with its own narrative, live performance, gastronomy when applicable, and set design created specifically for that universe. They take place in spaces chosen specifically for each chapter, have limited capacity, and never repeat.
Each chapter is different. The narrative, the space, the programme, the gastronomy, the performance and the dress code all depend on the world created for that edition. The necessary details are always communicated in advance to confirmed guests.
Duration depends on the chapter. As a reference, Signature Worlds can run for several hours and include different moments within the experience. The specific schedule and programme are communicated before each edition.
Medusa-X doesn't have a fixed venue. Each chapter takes place in a space chosen specifically for its narrative, from gardens and historic spaces to buildings with memory. The location of each edition is communicated according to the chapter's launch strategy.
Each chapter has its own dress code, communicated in advance. How guests arrive is part of the experience's visual universe.
